Pinnacle Foods Appoints EVP & Chief Supply Chain Officer
Pinnacle Foods Inc. announces that D. Michael Wittman has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer effective November 2, 2015. Wittman will replace Tony Fernandez, who earlier this year announced his plans to retire in mid-2016, and will report to Chief Executive Officer Bob Gamgort.
Commenting on the announcement, Bob Gamgort states, "I am pleased to welcome Mike to Pinnacle in the important role of leading our supply chain. His knowledge of the food and consumer products industry, as well as his strong experience leading the different aspects of the supply chain enterprise, will make him a strong addition to our team."
Wittman is currently Vice President of Supply Chain for Mars Chocolate North America where he has been responsible for leading the supply chain for the North American confectionery business since 2008. Prior to Mars, he spent over 25 years within the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, including leadership roles in J&J Consumer Companies and McNeil Consumer Products. Wittman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas.
