Phillips-Van Heusen Creates Global Supply Chain Organization

Phillips-Van Heusen (PVH) Corporation announces the creation of a new Global Supply Chain organization. This new organization, under the direction of Ellen Constantinides, has been created to enable PVH to make more efficient use of internal resources and reduce duplication of activities throughout its wholesale and retail divisions, with the intended goals of reducing product development cycle times and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of its sourcing operations.

Constantinides, who will hold the title of chief operating officer, Global Supply Chain, has extensive experience in supply chain issues, having been involved in all aspects of supply chain management in her role as president and chief operating officer of the company's Dress Shirt Group for the past 13 years. In her role, Constantinides will continue to report to Ken Duane, vice chairman, Wholesale.

In connection with the creation of the new Global Supply Chain organization, PVH is also making organizational changes within its wholesale business units. Marc Schneider, most recently president of PVH's Timberland Sportswear division, has been named president, Dress Furnishings, a newly created position overseeing the wholesale Dress Shirt and Neckwear Groups. Schneider will also report to Duane.

Cheryl Dapolito, most recently president, IZOD Women's, has been named president, IZOD and Timberland Sportswear. In this position, Dapolito will assume responsibility for the IZOD men's and Timberland wholesale sportswear divisions, in addition to continuing her leadership of the IZOD Women's division. Dapolito will continue to report to Malcolm Robinson, group president, Wholesale Sportswear.
