P&G Completes Sale of Kansas Plant
Procter & Gamble has sold its Kansas City, KS, plant to New Mill Capital and will lease the property through the end of the year.
First reported by the Cincinnati Business Courier, the sale is the continuation of P&G’s 2018 plans to move production of its dishwashing detergents to a newer plant in Tabler Station, WV.
The company had 280 full-time employees working at the Kansas City plant at that time, which produces such brands as Dawn, Gain, Joy and Ivory.
The sale price of the 574,000-square-foot site was not disclosed.
P&G operates 24 manufacturing plants in the United States.
