PepsiCo CEO Lands on Highly Rated Women CEO List

To commemorate International Women's Day, Glassdoor spotlighted a selection of just a few of the highly rated women CEOs on Glassdoor. These CEOs, who are rated highly according to feedback shared by their own employees, lead large as well as small and medium sized U.S. based companies.

Indra Nooyi, who has been CEO of consumer goods company PepsiCo since 2006, made the list. As CEO, Nooyi has been hailed for the way she has restructured the company to focus on more healthy snacks and beverages. Nooyi currently has a CEO rating of 78% among employees, who rate PepsiCo with 3.4 out of 5 stars.

International Women’s Day marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity, and there is still much to be done. But these women are leading the way for others and providing optimism for the next generation of future women leaders:

Mary Barra, CEO of General Motors – 88% approval

Judith Faulkner, Founder and CEO of Epic Systems Corporation – 84% approval

Celeste Gudas, CEO of 24 Seven Talent – 93% approval

Marillyn Hewson, CEO of Lockheed Martin – 85% approval 

Abby Johnson, President and CEO of Fidelity Investments – 92% approval

Lizanne Kindler, CEO of Talbots – 88% approval

Indra K. Nooyi, CEO of PepsiCo – 78% approval

Pamela M. (Pam) Nicholson, CEO of Enterprise Rent-A-Car – 86% approval

Melanie Whelan, CEO of SoulCycle – 84% approval
