Nike Names Vice President of Footwear Design
Nike Inc. names Peter Hudson as vice president of footwear design, responsible for inspiring, directing and developing Global Footwear Design for the Nike brand. He will report to Sandy Bodecker, Nike's vice president of global design, and Eric Sprunk, Nike's vice president of global footwear. Hudson brings more than 16 years of design experience to the role. Most recently, Hudson was creative director for sport performance at Nike, leading the footwear design process across all categories and the integration of digital design tools. In 2003, as creative director for soccer, he provided design leadership across footwear, apparel, and equipment, helping drive significant category growth. Hudson first started at Nike in 1996 and held major design roles in soccer and tennis. He succeeds John Hoke who recently moved to Converse as the vice president of global footwear.
