L'Oreal Taps Accenture CAS for Trade Promotions
L’Oral USA selects Accenture CAS trade promotion management software to improve the efficiency of its trade promotions program. Accenture CAS offers a suite of customer management and mobility software applications and services for the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Under the agreement, Accenture will assist L’Oral in improving the use of its trade promotions funds by offering an enhanced view of its trade promotions process. This will include greater insight into the factors affecting the performance of promotions.
In January 2011, Accenture acquired CAS, a provider of customer management and mobility solutions, to assist CPG companies in selling more products more profitably. Accenture CAS aims to offer an integrated suite of retail execution and trade promotion management software, including direct store delivery, field service and trade promotion optimization, and is part of the Accenture Software portfolio of products.
