Kimberly-Clark Appoints Chief Compliance Officer
Kimberly-Clark Corporation elects Thomas J. Mielke, formerly vice president and chief counsel for the company's North Atlantic consumer businesses, as senior vice president of law, government affairs and chief compliance officer. Mielke, who joined Kimberly-Clark in 1988, has extensive U.S. and international patent, trademark and general litigation experience. Before coming to Kimberly-Clark, he was a patent attorney with the Los Angeles law firm of Spensley, Horn, Jubas and Lubitz and with Dow Chemical Company in Midland, Mich.
