Kellogg Company Elects Former PepsiCo Executive

Kellogg Company elects Rogelio M. Rebolledo, former chairman of Pepsi Bottling Group, Mexico, to its board of directors effective July 24, 2008. Rebolledo retired as chairman of the Pepsi Bottling Group, Mexico, in 2007. He had also served as its president and chief executive officer from 2004 to 2006.

"Rogelio brings to our board a thorough understanding of marketing and operations in international markets, particularly Latin America," says David Mackay, president and CEO, Kellogg Company. "His proven leadership in the consumer products industry as well as his experience driving growth in emerging markets will be invaluable to Kellogg Company."

Prior to joining the Pepsi bottling business in Mexico in 2004, Rebolledo held a number of key positions during his 27-year tenure with PepsiCo Inc. In his role as president and CEO for PepsiCo Foods International, Rebolledo was instrumental in expanding the company's presence in the Latin American and Asia Pacific regions. Upon his promotion to president and CEO of the newly formed Frito-Lay International Division in 2000, Rebolledo assumed responsibilities for the European, Middle Eastern and South African markets as well. He retired from PepsiCo in 2003.

Rebolledo began his career at the Procter & Gamble Co., where he held a variety of marketing roles. He currently serves on the boards of Best Buy Co. Inc. and Alfa Group, a Mexican conglomerate with interests in petrochemical, refrigerated foods, aluminum automotive parts and telecommunications.
