IDC Manufacturing Insights Appoints EMEA Head
IDC Manufacturing Insights announced the appointment of Marc Van Herreweghe as Associate Vice President, to head up its Manufacturing Insights Research group in EMEA, and additionally to assume responsibility for the Manufacturing Operations Technology program globally.
With more than 20 years' experience at British American Tobacco (BAT), Marc was most recently BAT Group Head of Manufacturing, Innovations Design & Development with responsibility for 45 factories in 40 different countries. His expertise spans global supply chain, lean manufacturing, new factory build and organizational change. Marc has advised a wide range of organizations extensively on manufacturing strategies, in addition to holding academic advisory roles at a number of universities.
He is a Belgian national, fluent in Dutch, French, English, and German, and has an MSc in engineering.
