Hillshire Brands Inks BPO Deal
The Hillshire Brands Company signs a multi-year business process outsourcing (BPO) contract with Genpact Limited.
Under the terms of the agreement, Genpact will help Hillshire Brands transform and run its finance and accounting (F&A) operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting, master data, payroll, procurement operations support, and inventory control. Genpact will also support Hillshire Brands' financial team with technical application platform operations, in addition to providing analytics and process reengineering services to support the overall partnership.

Hillshire Brands' portfolio includes iconic brands such as Jimmy Dean, Ball Park, Hillshire Farm, State Fair, Sara Lee frozen bakery and Chef Pierre pies, as well as artisanal brands Aidells, Gallo Salame and Golden Island premium jerky.
