Hain Celestial Group has appointed Steven Liedtke as chief information officer.
The packaged goods veteran will be responsible for overseeing global information technology strategy and all related departmental operations and initiatives. He will report to chief financial officer James Langrock.
"Steve is an accomplished, results-driven [IT] executive with over 20 years of experience in the food and beverage and consumer products industries," said Langrock. "[His] contributions should be invaluable to Hain Celestial as we further strengthen our worldwide leadership team to support the next level of growth."
Liedtke joins Hain Celestial after more than 10 years at WhiteWave Foods and its affiliated entities, including the last five as CIO. There, he was responsible for the enterprise IT organization, including management, infrastructure, security and controls, solution delivery, master data management and business integration. Liedtke also played an instrumental role in the commercial separation of WhiteWave from Dean Foods and its initial public offering, as well as its eventual integration with Group Danone.
Also during his tenure at WhiteWave, Liedtke conducted all aspects of SAP ERP implementation and transformation, launched a digital strategy framework to improve consumer and customer experiences, and implemented a balanced and scalable IT security program.
Previously, Liedtke was segment CIO at Dean Foods, working in the WhiteWave, Morningstar and Alpro Divisions. Prior to joining Dean Foods, he spent 10-plus years working in leadership roles in the foodservice and high-tech industries.
