Growing Together

6/1/2006

As we go to print with the June issue, I will have a full month under my belt in my new role as Executive Editor of CGT. Like most of you, I have been an avid reader of the magazine and attended many valuable conferences over the years. Therefore, this new position feels like I'm joining a family that I've really been a part of for years. There were no new job anxieties, and the position is a great fit for my background and ambitions.

As CGT Publisher Steve Rosenstock mentioned in last month's issue, I come from AMR Research where I served as the Consumer Products Industry Research Director for the past five years. In that role, I advised many consumer products companies at the intersection of business and technology and worked with both leading manufacturers and technology vendors. I particularly focused on several initiatives that fall between the supplier and retailer, including RFID, data synchronization and downstream demand data management. In my new role here at CGT, I hope my enthusiasm and dedication helps to ensure that the content of our magazine and events continues to target precise industry pain points.

I am most excited to work closely with CGT''s Editorial Advisory Board to solicit ideas, discuss current and future initiatives and create peer networking opportunities. Together we will continue the great momentum that CGT has built over the last few years, delivering editorial content and conferences that are unparalleled in the industry. Keep your eyes open for new events and articles, all designed to provide you, the reader, with valuable insight.

I look forward to working with you both individually and collectively as we work to move the consumer goods industry forward! If you have thoughts or ideas that you would like to share, please contact me at [email protected] - I welcome your input!
