GoodPop has partnered with Adesso Solutions in order to improve the frozen treat brand’s trade promotion management.
The Austin, TX-based consumer goods company will leverage Adesso’s Flamingo TPM System, designed to manage the entire trade process, including the annual operating plan, customer planning, retail, execution, reconciliation, and analysis and reporting.
The Offline Planner feature, meanwhile, enables region managers to plan what-if scenarios in a spreadsheet format, which are then integrated into the system to avoid data entry errors.
Mara Ebert, GoodPop senior director of sales, said the company selected the solutions provider because of the efforts it undertook to keep them informed about trade processes and best practices.
“Having a trade system is one of the key elements to our strategic growth plan,” she noted, “and Adesso’s solutions will enable us to gain complete visibility into what we are spending on trade, as well as begin to leverage accruals for more strategic trade promotion planning,”
Founded in 2009, GoodPop’s frozen treats are made with all-natural, organic and locally sourced (when possible) ingredients. They’re sold online and at retail, including through Whole Foods.
