Coty, Nestle Bolster Access to Market Insights
Coty Inc. and Nestle sign multi-year agreements with Information Resources Inc. (IRI) to boost their access to consumer, shopper, and retail market intelligence and insights.
For Coty, a leader in global beauty and is the world's largest fragrance company, IRI will provide marketplace information and business insights for all of Coty's business units. In addition to consumer panel and audit services, Coty will utilize IRI InfoScan, a census-based scanner tracking service that aims to provide high-quality data and insights to fuel more effective business analyses and decision support processes at retail.
"We're very pleased to extend our partnership with IRI and combine all of our businesses under one supplier, including the new Sally Hansen and New York Color businesses that we recently acquired from Del Labs," says Coty Beauty President George Cleary.
Similarly, Nestle in the United Kingdom selected IRI as the sole supplier of retail data. For Nestle, this agreement represents the first time that all of its UK divisions have been aligned to one supplier of retail tracking. This consolidation was facilitated by its business services department in order to bring efficiencies and standardization to its business.
