Caribou Coffee Realigns Leadership

Caribou Coffee promotes Daniel E. Lee to secretary, senior vice president and general counsel of Caribou Coffee, and appoints Dan Hurdle to the role of senior vice president, retail operations and product management of Caribou Coffee.

Dan Lee contributes nearly two decades of comprehensive legal experience to Caribou. He is responsible for all aspects of the legal and risk management functions in addition to playing a key role in several major initiatives since joining the company in 2005. Lee previously worked for International Inc., Carlson Companies Inc. and General Electric, where he served in a variety of in-house counsel and executive roles.
 
Dan Hurdle assumes the retail operations leadership role in addition to his product management responsibilities, which he began in 2008. During the past year, Hurdle also oversaw the supply chain and store development functions at Caribou. Hurdle previously worked for Washington Mutual Retail, Starbucks Coffee Company and McKinsey Co.
