Wipro will provide support for certain business services within information technology, finance, human resources, customer service and consumer relations.
In this role, the executive will have oversight of Investor Relations, Treasury and serve as the CFO of the newly formed North American Leadership Team.
The decision is part of Mondelez International's multi-year investment in European manufacturing, under which $1.5 billion has been invested since 2010.
The company plans to spend capital of approximately $1 billion for e-commerce and digital initiatives this fiscal year and between $1.2 and $1.5 billion next year.
