Bumble Bee Foods Deploys Demand Side Management

With recent acquisitions, Bumble Bee Foods LLC's business has grown significantly in North America, providing the organization an opportunity to simplify business processes and to better align sales and marketing. Bumble Bee sought after an integrated solution that would enable its go to market strategy and eventually recently announced the selection of CAS CPWerx to provide an integrated solution for trade promotion management and reporting and analytics. "As an organization we were looking for a partner that understood our business thereby helping us drive competitive advantage in the marketplace," says Tony Costa, CIO, Bumble Bee Foods. "The key reasons we selected CAS included their industry specific expertise, their ability to support our sales and trade promotion processes, and their proven ability to integrate with SAP solutions." Bumble Bee Foods LLC, headquartered in San Diego, is the U.S. operating subsidiary of Connors Bros. Income Fund. Bumble Bee, together with the Fund's Canadian operating company, Clover Leaf Seafoods, comprise North America's largest branded seafood company, offering a full line of canned tuna, salmon, sardine and specialty seafood products marketed under brands such as Bumble Bee, Clover Leaf, Brunswick, Snows and Beach Cliff, as well as a full line of canned chicken and canned meat products in the United States under the Castleberry's and Sweet Sue brand names.
