Bic, Herr Foods, Khloud Replace Top Leadership
Consumer goods companies are shuffling their leadership teams as they begin planning for the year ahead.
Three companies — Bic, Herr Foods and Khloud — shifted their CEOs this week as part of efforts to accelerate growth strategies.
Bic
Bic's new CEO, Rob Versloot, stepped into the role this week, replacing Gonzalve Bich.
As the company's top leader, he is tasked with shaping the global strategy for Bic, overseeing sustainable growth.
Versloot was hired for his "belief in the power of simplicity, purposeful innovation and people-first leadership," according to the company. He brings decades of international experience in driving business transformations with a long-term view toward value.
Prior to joining Bic, Versloot was the CEO of The Hero Group, a family-owned international food company focused on branded nutritional food products.
He also spent nearly 15 years within Danone's early life nutrition segment, serving in a variety of roles before ultimately becoming regional vice president for its baby nutrition subsidiaries in the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and export markets in Central Asia.

Herr Foods
Troy Gunden takes on the role of CEO for Herr Foods, an 80-year-old, family-owned snack food company with products such as popcorn, chips and cheese puffs.
Gunden, a third-generation family member who has worked at the company for 21 years, takes over for Ed Herr. Herr will transition to the role of executive chairman of the board.
Gunden was most recently the president of Herr Foods, serving in the role for the past six years.
Khloud
Jeff Rubenstein will lead operations for Khloud, a protein snack brand founded by Khloé Kardashian.
He takes on the role as the snack brand prepares to expand its retailer relationships with launches in Walmart, Kroger, Albertsons and Ahold. He is tasked with accelerating the expansion while broadening the portfolio and building brand recognition.
Rubenstein joins the company from Poppi, where he served as president and chief growth officer. He began his career in brand management at The Coca-Cola Co., helping to scale emerging brands such as Vita Coco and Health-Ade.
As part of Khloud's expansion effort, the company also named Michael Maya its chief supply chain officer. He will oversee the company's manufacturing and supply chain systems, helping to expand distribution and scale growth.
