Acosta Acquires Griffin Strategic Advisors
Acosta Sales & Marketing, a sales and marketing agency in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, announces it has completed the acquisition of certain assets of Griffin Strategic Advisors LLC (Griffin), a comprehensive strategy and operations management consulting firm specializing in helping organizations improve profitability and accelerate growth. Griffin provides consulting and other services to a wide range of business sectors across the United States.
Griffin will combine with Acosta’s Marketing Group (AMG) to form AMG Strategic Advisors, a new business unit to be led by Griffin’s co-founder and CEO Carrie Shea. Shea will report to Acosta Chief Marketing Officer Ramin Eivaz and will serve as President of AMG Strategic Advisors. Griffin will continue to use the Griffin Strategic Advisors name for non-CPG clients and industries.
Founded in 2008, Griffin’s business model focuses on providing effective, high-value consulting to a diversified client list including leading companies in the consumer products, retail, apparel/footwear, automotive, private equity and higher education industries. Griffin’s team is comprised of consultants from firms such as A.T. Kearney, Accenture, Huron and The Cambridge Group and former industry executives from Fortune 1000 companies. In March 2011, Griffin was recognized by Consulting Magazine as one of “seven consulting firms to watch in 2011 and beyond” as part of the publication’s annual “Seven Jewels” special issue.
