AB InBev To Invest $300 Million in Manufacturing
Anheuser-Busch (AB InBev) is strengthening its manufacturing capabilities, investing $300 million in its U.S. facilities.
AB InBev’s strategy looks to expand the manufacturing workforce through its Technical Excellence Center model, which began in St. Louis in 2022. The company will open a new regional facility in Ohio — the Columbus Regional Excellence Center — that will upskill its regional technical workforce over the next three years.
The company will also expand access to its St. Louis and Columbus facilities in partnership with the National Association of Manufacturers’ Manufacturing Institute and local trade schools to help expand the talent pool.

Additionally, Church & Dwight will be adopting a new digital credentialing system to support veterans who are pursuing careers in manufacturing. This will help translate military experience into job skills.
More than 10% of the companies’ workforce is made up of veterans and active-duty military. Of this segment, the company has seen a nearly 100% retention rate and nearly 60% of this cohort serving in manufacturing roles.
