Newell Rubbermaid CFO Recovers, Works from Home

Newell Rubbermaid Inc. announces that Chief Financial Officer J. Patrick Robinson is recovering from surgery and will not be present at the company's July 26 earnings presentation. In his absence, Douglas L. Martin, the company's vice president - treasurer, will present the company's second quarter 2007 results. During his recovery, Robinson will continue to serve as the company's chief financial officer, working principally from home, with necessary support to be provided by members of his team. He is expected to return to work on a full-time basis in the fourth quarter.
