Nautica Brand Launches Online Store

On February 12, 2008, the Nautica brand announced the launch of its e-commerce site, Nautica.com, which sells direct to consumers in the United States over the Internet. The site will offer apparel and accessories for men, women and kids, with a wide array of classically-styled American sportswear that reflect the brand's heritage. 

Nautica, a VF Corporation brand, is partnering with GSI Commerce develop and operate facets of the online store, including customer service, order processing and fulfillment. Empathy Lab, an interactive agency leader, is responsible for the web design and further development of the web infrastructure. 

The site launched during Nautica's 25th anniversary year. To commemorate this milestone, special 25th anniversary product, including a limited edition collection of the iconic Deck Shirt, will be available online for spring. For fall 2008, Nautica will offer a 25th anniversary collection of reissued outerwear that celebrates the original six pieces that were the foundation of the company.
