Nordstrom CFO Anne Bramman has been named to the McCormick & Company board of directors.
McCormick & Company is a manufacturer of spices, seasoning mixes and condiments for the retail and foodservices industries, with a reported $5.3 billion in annual sales.
Bramman, who joined Nordstrom in 2017, serves as a member of the retailer’s executive team, with a focus on “improving the customer experience while driving productivity and continuing operational discipline with the ultimate objective of delivering total shareholder return,” according to McCormick. Her responsibilities encompass everything surrounding Nordstrom’s financial operations, including investor relations, real estate, financial planning, reporting, business development, treasury, tax, internal audit, credit and strategic sourcing.
“Ms. Bramman brings an exciting new background to the Board in digital e-commerce and online retail shopping,” says Lawrence E. Kurzius, McCormick chairman, president and CEO. “Her strong financial history of driving growth and productivity as CFO for several major companies with leading brands make her a great fit for McCormick. I look forward to working with Anne and the rest of the board on our continued path of delivering top tier financial performance.”
Past roles include CFO positions with Carnival Cruise Lines and Avery Dennison, a global manufacturer of adhesives. At specialty retailer L Brands, Bramman served as vice president of finance for Victoria’s Secret; corporate vice president/assistant treasurer of mergers, acquisitions and capital markets; and senior vice president and CFO for the Henri Bendel brand.
Bramman holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Christian University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of California Los Angeles.
