Kraft Heinz Restructures, Expands Supply Chain Leadership Role
The Kraft Heinz Co. has made changes to its global operating structure, streamlining oversight to help drive growth. As part of this, it has merged supply chain and procurement under a single function.
Janelle Aydin will lead the department as global chief procurement and supply chain officer, tasked with more effectively managing Kraft Heinz's end-to-end value chain and strengthening its supply chain resilience, according to CEO Steve Cahillane.
"These functions are deeply connected, and bringing them closer together creates a real opportunity to strengthen how we manage our end-to-end value chain, build greater resilience and optimize how we operate," Aydin stated in a LinkedIn post.

Aydin joined Kraft Heinz in 2023, first overseeing procurement and sustainability for the North America business before broadening her oversight to global operations. Before that, she spent nearly 15 years with Diageo, holding a variety of senior leadership positions across supply chain, marketing and innovation.
The company's former global supply chain officer, Flavio Torres, will step down after a transition period, during which he will serve in an advisory role.
Additionally, beginning July 1, Kraft Heinz will reorganize into three regions: North America, Europe and Pacific developed markets, and emerging markets. The company will also combine the Asia emerging markets and West and East emerging markets into a single emerging markets region.
Nico Amaya will continue to lead the North America business, which includes the U.S. and Canada.
