InBev to Standardize Global Supply Chain

In the highly competitive beer industry, there are constantly shifting supply chain requirements and regulations at local, regional and national levels. In order to increase customer satisfaction and achieve its dream to become the best beer company in the world, InBev sought the backing and support of a supply chain partner that understands the needs of its customers, as well as the major supply chain issues and challenges.

Earlier this week, InBev announced its intent to implement the HighJump Supply Chain Advantage suite from HighJump Software, a 3M company, for its worldwide warehouse operations. The first implementation of the HighJump solutions will be in the U.K. later this year. InBev will use the solutions as part of a comprehensive IT strategy, designed to link disparate production facilities, strengthen process execution and improve management visibility with consolidated, real-time information.

"We wanted to work with a multi-national company that not only understands the complexity of our supply chain operations, but also knows first-hand the importance of standardizing the underlying technologies to effectively support growth," says Koen Goossens, logistics director Western Europe, InBev. "With HighJump Software and 3M behind us, we're confident we can keep our customers in the forefront through a solid approach to managing our diverse product lines and rapidly changing environment."
