ConAgra Completes Acquisition of Del Monte Canada

ConAgra Foods, Inc. announces that it has completed its acquisition of Del Monte Canada, based in Toronto, Canada, from an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners. The company announced its agreement to acquire Del Monte Canada on Jan. 17, 2012. Financial terms were not disclosed.

 

The acquisition includes all Del Monte branded packaged fruit, fruit snacks and vegetable products in Canada, as well Aylmer tomato products. Del Monte Canada’s 190 employees officially join ConAgra Foods on March 6, 2012.
