Hershey Co., Hershey, Pennsylvania

Corey Klein, formerly of Nestle USA, is now a senior manager, customer marketing and planning, at Hershey.

Energizer Holdings, St. Louis

Thu Bang has been named the new senior manager, shopper activation.

Johnson & Johnson, New Brunswick, New Jersey

Sri Rajagopalan, formerly of PepsiCo, has joined J&J as vice president, e-commerce.

Kellogg Co., Battle Creek, Michigan

Paul Norman has been named president of Kellogg North America, reporting directly to chairman and CEO John Bryant. Craig Bahner will join the company in July as president, U.S. Morning Foods, reporting to Norman. Additionally, Cori Walters has been hired as senior manager, shopper marketing, based in Rogers, Arkansas.

Ken Krasnow, formerly senior director of portfolio marketing at PepsiCo, is the new vice president, digital & consumer activation.

Albertsons Safeway, Boise, Idaho and Pleasanton, California

The Albertsons and Safeway Family of Stores recently announced that the company’s current executive chairman, Bob Miller, will take on the additional role of chief executive officer to replace current CEO Robert Edwards, who will stay on in the new role of vice chairman.

BorderFree, New York

The e-commerce provider has named Jonathan Kapplow its new chief marketing officer.

Build.com, Chico, California

The online home improvement destination has named former Petco executive Danielle Porto Mohn as its chief marketing officer.

Evine Live, Minneapolis

The digital commerce company formerly known as ShopHQ has named Penny Burnett senior vice president and chief merchandising officer.

Home Depot, Atlanta

The retailer recently appointed Jamil Farshchi, previously at Time Warner Inc., as its first-ever chief information security officer.

Petco, San Diego

Petco recently named Michael Zuna to the role of senior vice president, chief marketing and digital officer, and Michael Nuzzo as executive vice president, chief financial officer.

Scooter’s Coffee, Omaha, Nebraska

The company promoted chief operations officer Clay Cox to president after he brought in some key talent. In March, Cox brought in Rob Streett, the director of strategic development at Starbucks during a major growth phase, as senior vice president. In January, Cox brought in Kelli Steidle, a former brand manager at ConAgra Foods, as vice president of operations.

Staples, Framingham, Massachusetts

The retailer has named company veteran Peter Scala to replace the chief merchant it recently lost while awaiting regulatory approval for a pending merger with Office Depot. Scala takes on the role of executive vice president, merchandising, to succeed chief merchant Mike Edwards, who stepped down.

Target Corp., Minneapolis

Target has named Anne Dament, formerly of PetSmart, Supervalu and ConAgra, to the role of senior vice president of merchandising, charging her with leading the strategic repositioning of the retailer’s food business.

Weis Markets, Sunbury, Pennsylvania

Michelle Dorin has been named director of dairy, frozen, specialty foods and beer; and Maria Panko has been promoted to director of marketing and private brands.
