These promotions follow the Sept. 18, 2014, announcement of Benno Dorer's promotion to CEO, which is effective Nov. 20, 2014, and the decision of Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer Lifestyle, Household and Global Operating Functions George Roeth to retire from the company effective Jan. 2, 2015.

Several seasoned Mars, Incorporated leaders are promoted in Petcare, Food, Sales and Marketing.

Concurrent with the announcement of the business separation plan, the company also announces the appointment of Dan Schulman to be President of PayPal, effective immediately, and CEO-designee of the standalone PayPal company following separation.
