Burberry has named a new chief information officer.
Charlotte Baldwin takes on the role and will be tasked with leading the company’s global technology team. In March, she will join the executive committee, reporting to CEO Joshua Schulman.
Baldwin was previously the global chief digital and information officer at Costa Coffee, which is part of the Coca-Cola Company. There, she was responsible for the company’s technology, digital, and data strategy. Prior to that, Baldwin was the chief Information, digital, and transformation Officer, at Bupa Insurance.

Her career includes senior roles at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Pearson, and Thomson Reuters, and she has experience in developing and executing digital strategies, leading and transforming technology teams, optimizing operating models, and architecting and modernizing complex legacy systems, according to LinkedIn.
“Charlotte is a highly experienced technology and digital leader with a track record of leading large-scale digital transformation,” said Schulman in a statement.
