Anheuser-Busch InBev Wholesalers Manage DSD
Wisconsin Distributors and Erie Beer are now using HighJump RouteCenter from HighJump Software, to power their beer distribution operations. Privately held by common ownership, the Anheuser-Busch InBev wholesalers implement the HighJump route accounting system (RAS) to manage its growing direct store delivery (DSD) operations. Erie Beer distributes three million cases per year and is based in Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin Distributors distributes six million cases each year and is located in Wisconsin. HighJump RouteCenter manages the distributors' selling, delivery, inventory and settlement processes. Additionally, the RAS works in conjunction with the Anheuser-Busch Mobility solution to extend the solution to the store shelf.
"HighJump Software has been a long time partner," says Michael McCormick, president, Erie Beer Co. "As our operations increased in complexity, HighJump was able to offer new route accounting solutions based on modern technology. HighJump's history in the beer industry, product capability, and certification with Anheuser-Busch InBev made HighJump RouteCenter an obvious choice."
Company owners began the search for a replacement for their legacy route accounting system in order to consolidate data and systems across both companies. HighJump RouteCenter is expected to be able to support the increasing complexities of the companies' multi-site distribution, with capability for complex pricing and discounting, settlement, and comprehensive sales reporting.
