Williams-Sonoma Adds Data Warehouse Software

Williams-Sonoma deploys Teradata's enterprise data warehouse. The home products retailer uses an eight-node Teradata 5450 platform for operations and a two-node Teradata 5450 platform for testing, development and disaster recovery. The retailer is using the Teradata Warehouse to gain a strategic, accurate and consolidated view of its business by combining merchandise and customer data in one platform. The retailer uses the data warehouse software as a single data source and business intelligence platform.
