VMT Achieves Certified Integration with SAP

Vendor Managed Technologies, Inc. (VMT) announces that its Velocity 7.0.9 solution suite has achieved certified integration with SAP applications. The solution has been proven to integrate with SAP solutions, to help provide extended performance visibility down to the retail store location for manufacturers.

 

Since 1994, VMT’s Velocity Demand Signal Repository (DSR) technology – at the core of the Velocity suite – has provided retailer-specific adaptors and harmonization algorithms to help enable retail suppliers to closely monitor and manage their product flow from the time of shipment through consumer purchase.

 

The SAP Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) has certified that Velocity 7.0.9 integrates with the SAP ERP 6.0 application by exchanging critical master data with instances of SAP Business Suite software. Through this certification, VMT has demonstrated Velocity 7.0.9’s capabilities to extract customer hierarchy data, customer material information and materials data.

 

As a result of the certified integration, VMT’s Velocity is expected to provide an out-of-the-box integration solution for connecting clients running SAP solutions to information on their products’ daily/store sales and inventory performance at retailers and distributors.
