Vision Chain Releases DSR Software Platform
Vision Chain Inc. has released Version 3.5 of its Demand Signal Repository Software Platform. New features include the ability for consumer products companies to deploy the software in a hosted, SAS-70 secure computing environment for retailers who allow their data to be hosted. Additional features include new adapters to accommodate point-of-sale data from such retailers as Food Lion, Loblaw, PetSmart and SuperValu. In addition to these new adapters, significant enhancements to the company's most popular adapter include access to new content such as historical inventory data, markup and markdown event analysis, regional and grocery purchase order analysis and daily Canadian data. New and improved capabilities added to the Target adapter now accommodate more data and more levels of granularity. Also part of the new release is expanded database platform certification and support for Oracle 10g and both 64-bit and 32-bit versions of Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Further, Version 3.5 streamlines and expands EDI 852 processing for all retailers.
