Valor Brands Implements VMI Program
Valor Brands LLC, supplier of a full line of private brand and control brand diapers, training pants and special-use pants, selects Datalliance VMI as the platform for its Consumer Goods Retailer Vendor Managed Inventory program. Datalliance is the independent supplier of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) services.
Valor Brands will initially implement Datalliance VMI with one of their largest private brand retail customers. "We see VMI as a tool that will strengthen our strategic relationship with our customers," says Scott Harrison, VP Supply Chain, Valor Brands. "With the high volume of product that we supply to our large customers, it is important for us to optimize our inventory investment and theirs. We need to have sufficient inventory to satisfy end-customer demand and maintain a high level of customer service, but no more than needed in order to minimize our customers inventory investments. Datalliance VMI will allow our customers to maximize the value of the supply chain to better support the demands of their customers, the retail shoppers."
