Tip of the Spear Technology: SocialShop
Sales-enabling mobile app Salesfloor’s new “SocialShop” functionality lets store employees post shoppable product posts on Instagram and get credit for any resulting sales.
Department store chain Neiman Marcus is already using the technology. “We’re proud to partner with Salesfloor in helping to innovate the social selling space for our brand ambassadors and excited to have already seen strong results since launching the new feature,” says Elizabeth Gleason, the chain’s director of online experience & service.
The functionality will expand to other social networks later this year, according to Salesfloor.
