LayerCake is a Chicago-based company that gives retailers and real estate developers an informative way to review potential locations nationwide.

The iOS-enabled app shows blueprints, location photos, co-tenancy and other information related to a location. Additional data and information can be customized and "layered" in, such as area household income, daytime population, transportation options and street views. The app is a digital solution to a retail industry that currently works with cumbersome market demographics and plan books to make site evaluations.
