Throttleman Enhances Supply Chain with RFID
Throttleman deploys the RetailID RFID system from Paxar, Sybase and CreativeSystems to enhance its supply chain processes. Using RetailID, the manufacturer of clothing for men, women and children is speeding up the time-to-delivery of merchandise. RetailID is a three-tiered system including: Hardware -- tags (supplied by Paxar), hand-held readers, fixed antennas and readers, portals; Integration -- Sybase is supplying the software and CreativeSystems controls the support and integration of the hardware with the software; and RetailID Solutions -- the set of business functions related to the management, control and tracking of products.
