Sorbara's Shop n' Save Installs Self-Checkout

Sorbara's Shop n' Save deploys the Fujitsu U-Scan self-checkout system, in conjunction with POS software from StoreNext. The deployment includes bagged and belted checkouts giving customers a choice of using self-checkout for large-volume orders or a quick run-through with a handful of items. Each of the five Pittsburgh area grocery stores has two belted self-checkout units plus two five-bag U-scan stations. All the self-checkout units and stations are integrated with the StoreNext ScanMaster POS software.
