RSI ID Announces Business Spin Out

Vantage ID Applications, an automatic identification and data capture solutions provider, has spun-out from parent company RSI ID Technologies. The spin-out, which took effect on August 6, 2007, allows Vantage to focus on data collection and process automation solutions including, bar codes, security seals, tamper evident labels and wireless solutions not dependant on RFID. Vantage is now positioned to take advantage of the intellectual property related to the bar code business, including the Pressiza, WetWarn and TamperWarn marks. While Vantage has shifted its focus to non-RFID solutions, RSI will continue to provide RFID solutions to global markets.
