LeanLogistics Unveils On-Demand TMS

LeanLogistics announces general availability of its latest release, Revision 4.6, of the flagship LeanLogistics software, On-Demand TMS, which adds new Supplier Inbound Management functionality. Using the On-Demand TMS Supplier Inbound module, the buying company has access to the information they need to plan and control the shipment -- the suppliers' Ready-to-Ship data. The supplier provides key information, including the date that the shipment will be available for pick-up, the ship-from location, and the shipment content.Given these data, companies can control their inbound shipment process, optimizing the overall shipment plan, assigning their core carriers, managing those carriers, and scheduling pick-ups and deliveries.  All parties -- Buyers, Suppliers, customer service, operations, and other interested parties -- can have complete visibility into both Purchase Orders and shipments.
