Kehe Food Distributors Deploys Supply Chain Suite

Kehe Food Distributors purchases RedPrairie Corporation's E2e Supply Chain Suite, including Warehouse, Transportation and Labor Management Solutions. Kehe distributes specialty foods to more than 9,000 grocery stores in 47 states. Kehe plans to implement the RedPrairie solutions -- which will replace custom legacy systems -- at its main distribution center located in Illinois as well as its forward distribution centers. The supply chain suite will help Kehe maintain complete visibility to and control of its products throughout the entire supply chain. Kehe plans to gain improvements in lot and date control, truck loading, productivity and freight savings. "Even though we have a high degree of automation in our distribution centers, we want improved product visibility and accountability in order to stay at the forefront in our industry.
