JDA Makes Leadership Moves

JDA Software Group, Inc. has promoted Mark Morgan to executive vice president and chief revenue officer and named David Rye senior vice president of strategy and corporate development.

Morgan, who had been svp of sales for JDA’s North American operations, is now responsible for the global sales organization. He replaces Razat Gaurav, who has held the role since October 2015 but is leaving to pursue other opportunities, the company said. Morgan joined JDA in 2010 through its acquisition of i2 Technologies, and has also served as regional vp of sales for the Europe, Middle East and Africa operations.

“Mark has excelled in leading our field organizations in both domestic and international markets. He is a consummate customer advocate, brings deep supply chain domain expertise, builds strong teams and collaborates across the organization—all key ingredients to be able to effectively lead our global sales organization,” said Girish Rishi, JDA's chief executive officer.

In his newly created role, Rye will be responsible for shaping corporate strategy around JDA's product portfolio, services, cloud and go-to-market approach. He joins JDA from Informatica Corp., where spent nine years as svp of corporate development.

"JDA will benefit from David’s experiences in the enterprise software industry and his proven approach toward strategy that creates enormous value, as he collaborates with both external and internal partners," Rishi said.
