HMSHost, Coca-Cola Spread Holiday Airport Cheer
Travelers at some of the busiest U.S. airports were recently surprised by holiday elves bearing good cheer and fun gifts as part of foodservice company HMSHost’s "Holly Jolly Holiday Takeover."
During a series of events at Chicago O’Hare, Seattle-Tacoma and Orlando International airports, travelers were invited to spin a prize wheel to determine if they’ve been naughty or nice and receive corresponding gifts, including electronics, collectibles, travel accessories and gag presents. The events included carolers, comedic talent and free beverages from campaign partner Coca-Cola Co. Travelers also could submit photos of themselves enjoying their own holiday excursions to win $100 digital gift cards.
HMSHost has also joined with Coca-Cola for a "Holiday Emoji Instant WinNow" promotion. Through Dec. 31, travelers in the U.S and Canada enter by making a purchase at a participating HMSHost airport or motorway location, then texting a unique code from their receipts along with a special emoji to win gift cards.
