Supply Chain Solution Electrolux Home Care Products has seen its business model in North America change in recent years from manufacturing to sourcing a larger percentage of finished goods and components from overseas suppliers. "With the growing expectations of our customer base we needed to streamline our planning processes to ensure that we had a system in place that would support future growth and help us maintain high customer service levels," says Jennifer Hughey, vice president supply chain for Electrolux Home Care Products North America. Thus, the company has successfully implemented Logility Voyager Solutions to increase demand visibility, strengthen collaboration, improve forecast accuracy and increase customer service levels. Electrolux will also be able to more accurately plan for the different stages of product lifecycles including introduction, maturity, replacement, substitution and retirement, and gain the insight to better align inventory with customer demand to reduce inventory obsolescence and cycle times.
