This week, The Clorox Company announced it will acquire Burt's Bees, a brand that is regarded among many consumers who purchase natural personal care products as the "most natural" personal care brand and as the leading natural brand in the United States.

The Blackstone Group enters into a definitive agreement to acquire Pinnacle Foods Group Inc., a manufacturer, marketer and distributor of branded food products in the United States and Canada, for approximately $2.16 billion in cash.
