Checkpoint Introduces EP Label Range

Checkpoint Systems Inc. introduces its line of Enhanced Performing (EP) radio frequency (RF) electronic article surveillance (EAS) labels. Checkpoint's new and improved line of EAS labels are designed to be smaller and thinner than traditional EAS labels and are expected to be more easily integrated into retailers' source tagging programs. Therefore, the number of products that arrive in stores with security labels already in place is increased, and store labor costs are reduced. Additionally, retailers will benefit from the increased detection offered by the new EP labels, which will result in less product lost to theft. Finally, when the labels are affixed by personnel at the store level, they can be placed on smaller products and will cover less packaging area than previous labels.
