The Central Group Acquires Packaging Technologies
The Central Group, Toronto, has acquired all of Packaging Technologies Inc., a Concord, Ontario-based designer and manufacturer of high impact graphic corrugated packaging and P-O-P displays.
Packaging Technologies will continue to operate under its own name. This new collaboration with Packaging Technologies provides an opportunity to strengthen and expand The Central Group's service and product line offerings across all subsidiaries, including Central Graphics and Container Group Ltd. and Independent Corrugator Inc.
"With a diverse range of high-profile clients, our acquisition of Packaging Technologies supports the Central Group's strategy to lead the future advancement and continued high-performance CPGs and retailers – we continually seek out and offer high-value, innovative products, services and leading technology solutions that meet and exceed our customers' business objectives," Central Group CEO Rick Eastwood said in a media release.
Packaging Technologies serves blue-chip and progressive customers in food and beverage, automotive, direct mail and industrial sectors. The company's packaging designs can be found throughout North American retailers.
