The current Avon executive is expected to bring outstanding legal, corporate governance and CPG experience to the role, which will start in late August, 2012.
Previously, the candidate served as CFO of Toys"R"Us Inc., from 2004 to 2006, where he oversaw a strategic review and restructuring of company-wide operations.
The plant, which is PepsiCo's sixth food manufacturing site in its Greater China Region, is part of the company's plans to drive the continued growth of its China business.
The appointments come after the existing CEO and Chairman of the Board announced their resignations. Additionally, the company announced the elimination of the Chief Financial Officer position.
