Blockbuster Recruits Employees with Talent Management Software

Blockbuster chooses Taleo Enterprise Edition to help recruit talent for its 4,000 U.S. company-operated stores. The retailer is replacing its existing system and will use the new platform to streamline the company's recruitment process, reduce the time it takes to hire employees and provide store managers with a user-friendly hiring experience. Blockbuster is using Taleo's ACE Retail Assessment 2.0 to select employees that are passionate about movies and games. The system is a confidential, paperless application process that matches overall job duties with an employee's background and allows Blockbuster to identify and hire staff best fit for the company's job requirements.
