Barilla Strengthens Manufacturing Planning, Customer Service Processes

Barilla America, the U.S.-based division of The Barilla Group, Italy's largest food producer, makes the fastest-growing pasta and sauce brand lines in their categories. Its pasta producing plant, located in Ames, Iowa, is among the largest pasta plants in the United States and the forth largest in The Barilla Group. To better support growth, Barilla America is opening a second plant in Avon, NY, this spring.
The large scale of its operations requires plant-to-plant scheduling that keeps all facilities working toward common corporate objectives.
